Background
Transport for NSW engaged DNV, a marine industry specialist, to conduct a condition assessment of the Sydney Ferries fleet.
The aim of the assessment is to ascertain the effectiveness of Transdev Sydney Ferries’ vessel maintenance procedures. The assessment reviewed Transdev Sydney Ferries vessel conditions, planned maintenance systems, work orders, outstanding and overdue tasks, and defect reporting procedures.
The assessment included a comparison of fleet condition to a similar assessment completed in 2019. Transdev Sydney Ferries has provided a response.
