Brookvale

Project status

All work relating to the Northern Beaches B-Line program in Brookvale is complete.  

The scope of works delivered in Brookvale include:

  • new local and B-Line northbound and southbound bus stops on Pittwater Road, including weather protection, seating and real-time information
  • 250 dedicated commuter car park spaces constructed as part of the Brookvale Community Health Centre
  • Park&Ride commuter car parks providing customers with up to 18 hours free parking each day when using an Opal card on public transport
  • a new pedestrian bridge spanning Pittwater Road from Brookvale Community Health Centre across to Westfield Warringah Mall, improving traffic flow and providing safer accessibility for pedestrians and cyclists
  • a new dedicated left-hand turn into Cross Street from Pittwater Road
  • Public Art has been installed on both of the two cabinets at the northbound bus stops as part of the B-Line Public Art Strategy – Be Here!
