Mariyung Fleet - upgrading existing maintenance and stabling facilities

Modifications have been completed within the existing maintenance and stabling facilities at Eveleigh to accommodate the new trains. Changes include:

• Track and siding extensions
• Supporting infrastructure including extension of overhead wiring, signals, walkways, fencing and lighting to support the above
• Testing and stabling the new fleet
• Maintenance such as minor repairs and cleaning.

• Upgrading concrete walkways including new hand railings
• Installing lighting
• An extension to existing decanting facilities and relocation of train car markers.

Modifications have been completed within the existing facility at Wollongong to accommodate the new trains. These changes included:

• Installing new steel elevated walkway for rail staff
• Extending the existing staff concrete walkways
• Installing lighting and CCTV
• Relocating track crossings, signal and power service and train car markers.

Modifications have been completed within the existing facility at Port Kembla to accommodate the new trains. These changes included:

• Extending the existing staff concrete walkways including new hand railings.
• Installing lighting
• Relocating under track crossings, signal and power service and train car markers.

Modifications have been completed within the existing facility at Lithgow to accommodate the new trains. These changes included:

• Updated signage
• Line marking the existing staff concrete walkways
• Installation of train car markers.

Modifications have been completed within the existing facility at Hamilton to accommodate the new trains. These changes included:

• Extension to existing decanting facilities
• Buffer stops modification work

Modifications have been completed within the existing facility at Broadmeadow to accommodate the new trains. These changes included:

• Extending the existing staff concrete walkways
• Extension to existing decanting facilities and relocation of train car markers.
