Tuncurry Boat Maintenance Facility

Reviewed

Project overview

The NSW Government is delivering major improvements to maritime infrastructure and facilities statewide, to help the boating and wider community safely access, use and navigate our inland and coastal waters.

Project information

Background

A $205 million stimulus funding program was announced in October 2020 to invest in maritime infrastructure and safety upgrade projects across the state.

The existing slip way does not meet environmental standards and the infrastructure has come to the end of its useful life.

The Tuncurry Boat Maintenance Facility will be upgraded to improve functionality, safety and the marine environment.

What are we doing?

The NSW Government is funding a proposal to upgrade the Tuncurry Boat Maintenance Facility.

Transport for NSW is in the planning stage and are aiming to seek community feedback on the concept design and Review of Environmental Factors in 2024.

We’ll keep the community updated as we progress this project.
