Project overview

Following the extreme weather event in March 2021, there were significant impacts to Bells Line of Road. Transport for NSW has undertaken emergency investigation and rehabilitation work to return the road to full capacity.

September 2024 - Remediation work completed on 3 slope failures

Work to remediate three slope failures alongside the Bells Line of Road at Mount Tomah to help keep the road open during future extreme weather events has been completed. Design work is underway on the remaining slope and delivery will be coordinated with other projects along Bells Line of Road to minimise cumulative impacts.

May 2023 - Remediation work from 29 May 2023
