Shellharbour Junction Station
Project overview
The program is designed to simplify and modernise the rail network. Passengers will be able to access more services on a simpler and more reliable network through the delivery of better infrastructure, new trains and extra services.
Project scope
- extending platforms to hold the longer intercity trains. This will give customers access to all carriages
- upgrading lighting, CCTV and the PA system
- installing of tactile paving and line marking to improve safety.
Project status
We completed this project in April 2023.
