Merrylands Commuter Car Park
Project overview
The NSW Government improved commuter parking at Merrylands Station by constructing 98 new spaces across two locations.
Key benefits
- 75 additional car spaces have been created by adding four levels to the existing commuter car park adjacent to the station, including six accessible spaces.
- New lift and stairs at the existing commuter car park to improve accessibility to the station and the bus interchange.
- 23 street level parking spaces delivered along Railway Terrace, approximately 300 metres north-east of Merrylands Station
- Installation of CCTV security cameras to improve security.
Project status
The project has been completed and opened to the public on 10 August 2018.
