Moss Vale Station and Stabling Yard Upgrade

Reviewed

Project overview

The NSW Government is upgrading Moss Vale Station and Stabling Yard to achieve Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport 2002 (DSAPT) compliance and to accommodate the new Regional Rail fleet.

The project will provide a station precinct that is accessible to people with disability, limited mobility, parents/carers with prams and passengers with luggage, while ensuring that it aligns with Moss Vale’s transport needs.

Construction is now underway on site. The project is expected to be completed by late 2025.

Temporary barbed wire

Residents may notice barbed wire has been temporarily installed on top of the fence along Lackey Road for safety. This will be removed once the new stabling yard is operational.

Additionally, noise blankets have been put in place to help reduce noise levels during the temporary stabling of trains in front of Moss Vale Station.
